Holo’s approach to pricing, payments, and currency reflects our commitment to creating a fair and efficient distributed hosting ecosystem. While implementing HoloFuel remains our goal, we plan to accept HOT and as needed, several national currencies as payment for alpha hosting services.
Holo plans to accept payments for hosting services primarily in HoloToken (HOT), with additional support for national currencies such as USD and EUR prior to the launch of the full Holo platform, and before the implementation of HoloFuel as the native hosting backed payment currency in Holo.
Customer pricing will be aggregated by Holo and simplified for alpha testing and provisioning, ensuring straightforward payment processes.
Until we implement HoloFuel as the internal accounting system, micro-payments, and direct peer payments between customers and hosts will not be supported.
HoloPort owners will manually contacted as needed if and when hosting services to customers or projects arise and this will be based on their hardware’s capacity. Hosts will receive compensation for providing alpha hosting services.
